Jennifer Macdonald, DMD
Dr. Jenn is a native of Advance, North Carolina. At a young age, she discovered her passion for working with children and an interest in dentistry. Dr. Tina inspired and helped encourage this passion at the age of 13 by employing Dr. Jenn to help with sterilization and hold little hands when they were nervous.
She completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, graduating early in three years with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry Minor in 2013. Dr. Jenn continued her education at the East Carolina School of Dental Medicine and received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2017. Upon completion of dental school, she began her pediatric dentistry residency in Richmond, Virginia at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident her second year.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and the North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She excelled in passing her pediatric dentistry written board examination and is looking forward to becoming board certified in 2020.
Dr. Jenn is excited to be back home in North Carolina. Her husband, Brad, is a general dentist serving the local community in Archdale, North Carolina. She enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, exercising, and taking her mini dachshund, Barkley, on long walks.
